Terms & Conditions

1. About these Terms

This website is operated by the Canberra Alliance for Harm Minimisation and Advocacy (“CAHMA”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

2. Products

The artworks sold on this website are original, one-of-a-kind pieces created by artists connected with CAHMA. Because each piece is unique:

  • Once an artwork is sold, it is no longer available for purchase.
  • Colours and textures may appear slightly different in person than on screen, depending on your display. Dimensions and materials are listed on each product page.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Payment is required in full at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where a pricing or listing error has occurred, or where an artwork is found to be unavailable (for example, sold in person before the online order was processed). In these cases you will receive a full refund.

4. Artwork Ownership and Intellectual Property

When you purchase an artwork through this website, you are purchasing the physical artwork only.

Copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the artwork remain with the artist and/or CAHMA. Your purchase does not grant you any right to reproduce, copy, print, publish, or commercially exploit the artwork or images of it. You may photograph and share images of the artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes (for example, on social media) with attribution to the artist where known.

5. Shipping

We ship within Australia only. Shipping is handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy, available on this website.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refunds & Returns Policy, available on this website, and the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to the Australian Consumer Law, CAHMA is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or purchase of an artwork. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant product or refunding the amount you paid for it.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you place your order applies to that order.

10. Contact
